About this role: As an early stage startup, our Operations Manager position is a roll up the sleeves, step up to the challenge opportunity all about boosting productivity to ensure logistics/product/sales ideas become reality as quickly as possible. You will work directly with the CEO as well as execute tasks independently. You are a doer, capable of quickly assessing scenarios and translating plans into action. You have experience and are a quick learner for operational, technical, analytical and digital marketing skills in a fast-paced start-up environment and are super excited about ecommerce operations. You will work to ensure the entire business is operating efficiently alongside the CEO and help to improve the present performance and future growth of Jibs. This is an exciting time to join our business as we are seeing rapid growth, and the Operations Manager will be crucial in driving this move from start-up to scale-up business.

About the position:

Business Operations

  • Execute key tasks and projects in the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business objectives
  • Inventory management at showroom and 3PL, planning to optimize for stock levels, speed, and margin
  • Establish and deploy metrics for for digital funnels, social media marketing and eCommerce
  • Provide timely, accurate and complete reports for the CEO
  • Work with CEO to develop full Company Handbook 
  • Approach every day with a continuous improvement mindset - consistently identifying areas for improvement and putting forward recommendations 
  • Running errands as necessary


Sales + Marketing

  • Responsible for efficiently handling communications throughout the customer journey
  • Oversee technical components of digital marketing campaigns and assist in ongoing content creation
  • Collaborating with marketing and product personnel on promotional strategies and influencer marketing, overseeing website and automation systems, and evaluating website traffic and other data to better understand customer engagement and conversion rates
  • Create and optimize ways to enhance the customer experience and funnel to achieve sales targets 
  • Maintenance of all information and product catalogues on Jibs website and partner sites

Analytics + Finance

  • Monitor financial and sales dashboards to identify trends, areas of opportunity, scale and potential improvements to drive ongoing business vision and optimization
  • Financial reporting and controlling
  • Working with the CEO to plan budgets



Is someone who has:

    • Experience in either fashion, footwear, consumer products, or wellness
    • Technical savvy and resourceful
    • Experience in DTC / E-commerce based business
    • Supply chain and manufacturing exposure
    • A natural born leader with the ability to work independently and in a lean team environment 
    • Well-rounded solid experience in commercial innovation and P&L management
    • Proven background, or strong desire to learn, in scaling an inventory-based business
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate needs as well as provide the team with a clear framework of process steps
    • Working knowledge of fashion/footwear industry and brand landscape
    • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, and written skills
    • Interest in luxury design / travel / and a passion for the Jibs brand
