About this role: We are looking for a talented and energetic Digital Marketing Assistant to join the growing team. You will be supporting across most of the digital channels, including affiliates, social media, website content and email. You will be working closely with our founder for social media and email to gain experience within the platforms, as well as assisting in the operational tasks. You will be someone who enjoys a challenge and is a self-starter. This role works alongside the our small internal team, whilst collaborating with the wider marketing, creative and external brand partners, therefore you will gain a cross-channel perspective to direct to consumer (DTC) marketing

 

About the position:

 Projects and ongoing creative

  • Support our founder to execute ongoing and campaign planning, partner outreach, market positioning and branding
  • Assist with management of affiliate campaigns and strategic publisher partnerships, ensuring campaigns are kept on brand, within budget and maximum ROI is achieved
  • Identify and propose new partners to grow our affiliate and ambassador programs
  • Initiate and execute new campaign ideas, incentives, promos and bonuses for the affiliate scheme and DTC sales
  • Develop the ongoing marketing calendar and content production
  • Work with graphics team to build brand documents, campaigns and content
  • Stay current with trends in affiliate and social media marketing and identify new opportunities
  • Work with our founder to establish relationships with key publishers and media

Operations and results

  • Support with copywriting for new products, social ads and seasonal launches
  • Assist in the management of relationships within our affiliate platform
  • Oversee all affiliate campaigns ensuring that all our terms, feeds and tracking links are up to date and working efficiently
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting, analysis and insight across some of our digital channels
  • Brief and send out regular communications to affiliates: promotions, product launches, brand events – to ensure maximum, relevant exposure
  • Support our founder with any tasks relating to organic and paid social content
  • Support, on an ad-hoc basis, with tasks relating to marketplace advertising, including sharing product insights and reviewing competitor activity 

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Is someone who has:

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, being able to communicate easily and build relationships with customers
    • Experience in either fashion, footwear, consumer products, or wellness industries 
    • Technical savvy and resourceful
    • Experience in DTC / E-commerce based business
    • A natural born leader with the ability to work independently and in a lean team environment 
    • Working knowledge of fashion/footwear industry and brand landscape
    • Interest in luxury design / travel / and a passion for the Jibs brand

Extra brownie points:

  • Experience with Shopify 
  • Experience in scaling a start up business
  • Relationships within the fashion, travel, wellness community
  • Drivers license
